Food Web: Animal:
The Food Web shows the sun, where everything gets its energy from. The producers like algae, reeds, and water plant. Then to the consumers a few being mosquito, black swan, turtle, dragon fly. Lastly we have our decomposers like bacteria, yabby, and a worm.
There are many predator/prey relationships in the web. For example, one would be the freshwater snail is eaten by the black swan, another the water boatman is eaten by the fish. (left)
There are many symbiotic relationships in the wetlands biome. An example of a symbiotic relationship would be the alligator and a certain type of bird. The bird finds food in the alligators mouth and the alligator recieves a clean mouth which is mutualism meaning they both benefit.
Another example of mutualism symbiosis in the wetlands would be a butterfly when they pollenate other flowers. The butterfly uses the nectar as food and also helps flowers live and grow.
Two herbivores that live in the wetlands are lubber (fish) and the swamp rabbit.
Two carnivores in the wetlands would be the alligator and snakes.
Two omnivores in the wetlands one the nutria rat and the alligator snapping turtle.
Two autotrophs in the wetlands are alisma plantago-aquaticas and asclepias incarnatas.

Plants:
The plants that live and grow in the wetlands have to be able to sustain the humidity and moisture of the humid, swampy waters. The plants that can live in the humidity would be the pond lilies, cattails, sedges, tamarack, and black spruce. The trees that are really popular are the Mangrove Trees. The tree can grow between land and water and it's roots grow above the sea level.
