Welcome to the Wetlands!
Information about the Wetlands
The Wetland biome has many biotic (animals and plants) and abiotic (water and soil) factors. The wetland biomes are located near the coast all over the world. They are the link between water and land. Wetlands help prevent erosion by slowing down the runoff water.

Activities in the Wetlands:
There are many activities to do in the wetland biome. You could go fishing, for some of the fish the wetlands has to offer. You could also go hiking, birdwatching, boating, and trapping.
Limiting Factors:
In the years past people have decided that the wetlands are a waste of space and drain them for various reasons leaving the plants and animals either dead or homeless.
Carrying Capacity:
Wetland carrying capacity varies every year depending on availability of food, water, or shelter. Carrying capacity is usually the highest during spring and summer when food is abundant, and decreases during winter and fall when food is scarce.
